I had to reconfigure my mechanism not long ago as well as afterwards had to reinstall skype. After reinstallation, we could listen to my freinds speak by skype really obviously though they cannot listen to me. we have checked the orator settings as well as there doesn’t appear to be the problem. Please help. Thanks.

Unless your question was mistyped incorrectly, your problem is not your speakers it is your microphone. Skype has a feature under its options where it will call a test phone # where you can talk into yuor mic and it will play back the results…if it doesnt work then your system settings are possibly in such a way where the microphone is “muted”. You can double-click the speaker icon shown in the task tray and it may show your microphone there (make sure its not muted) or go to your Control Panel > Sounds settings and in there will be a place where you see your microphone.
