I only sealed up yesterday as well as people we dont know have been asking me to supplement them to my contacts as well as Skype keeps display a summary observant “be clever who we supplement as contacts if we dont know a person”.
Should we omit these people?

If you don’t know somebody and you don’t want them in your contact list, reject their invite and block them from contacting you again.
Right click -> Block does the trick.
There are some spammers & some lonely people out there, but the number of requests will go down to almost 0 in time… they are just contacting you cause you just signed up.
Skype is a really good service – don’t get discouraged
