I have internet phone line (VoIP). we attempted dual opposite fax machines, as suggest by a dealer. They do not work. we called a companies (Sharp as well as brother). They pronounced which these have been analog machines as well as they do not work upon VOIP. Do we know any fax machines which would work ? Thanks

if Sharp nor Brothers doesn’t work for you …then get a dedicated VoIP fax line form your VoIP provider for 9 bucks a month…..!
here is how I use my Sharp fax machine…..use the 9600 baud rate and set the mode to overseas….and use 1 page at a time!!! then it will work on a VoIP !!

it depends more on your VoIP provider then the device…
many VoIP services are not compatible with fax services… the call quality is not the same as a POTS line… but you will probably not hear this difference with a voice call, depending on your service.. however with some services (such as skype) this sound quality difference is easily heard…
check with your VoIP provider to see if there service supports fax service, and what you can do to improve your chances to successfully use a fax machine with there service.. you may have to change settings within your fax machine, and your router…
