I’ve set up my VOIP as instructed, though there is no receptive to advice when we exam the phone. we review something about the soundcard, though not certain if we need a single for this? Can any one assistance please?

It depends on your equipment. Some work without your computer needing to be on, and just plug into your modem or router. Other systems require you to use a microphone connected to your computer or run a handset plugged in through your computer, in which case you will need a sound card or the sound chip integrated into most motherboards active and the drivers loaded.http://www.fcc.gov/voip/
